Please Mommy ... Don't Go!

Is this the saddest thing you have ever seen? Olivia has been a little clingy to mommy lately. She will sometimes give a heartbreaking peer through the dogdoor as Elaina leaves for the gym.

I can't imagine what this must look like from the other side of the door.

Dinner time is usually right around the corner though.... dinner makes her happy... wonder where she gets that from?

Do these goggles make my face look small?

Seriously! Look at these things? How do you even find goggles to fit Andre the Giant? I wore them up to Sweitzer over the weekend for a day of snowboarding.
Such a great day.  Just me and my headphones.
Nice views of the lake...
For some reason I think I can magically snowboard better and faster when I'm listening to music.  Is it just me?  No wonder Rocky beat the Russian in Rocky 4.  I'm pretty sure it was from listening to Eye of the Tiger.

Double dip? Yep!

Me and Elaina today … while eating Veggies and ranch Dip…

Winter at Schweitzer

We have had a lot of fun at the condo this winter.  I think Elaina is secretly trying to make me excersise.  See below for proof:

Went on a fun little hike with Elaina, Val, Jase, and the dogs.

We also went snowshoeing with our friends Britney and Brad.

Had a good time sledding with Jase and the kids.

At the end of the day it was nice to relax by the fire and play some Xbox.  Lily was kind enough to give Olivia her first lesson.
By the way, what is Elaina passing out that would give her the undivided attention of Olivia, Jase's kids, and Charlie?  I hope it's not crack.

Goodbye baby who only crawled and was easy to keep track of... it was nice knowing you!

Olivia has had a maximum of three to four steps while learning to walk. From one couch to the other she would walk... three or four steps.

The other night Elaina and I were cheering Olivia as she walked back and forth between the two of us. Elaina moved her couch back a few inches each trip and the walking distance increased more and more.

You could see the look in Olivia's eyes when she discovered her new mode of transportation. She had the funniest proud look on her face. I think this night she just... decided to walk....and blow past Elaina like a running back.

This is her first long distance trek:
